(Dry Needling)
Dry Needling for the treatment of muscular pain.
Dry needling is a highly effective treatment for chronic pain caused by neuromuscular dysfunction. It involves the insertion of thin filament needles into the affected muscle in order to release tension and pain by triggering a local twitch response.
This technique is known for its ability to quickly and effectively target the root cause of pain and functional deficits, with minimal side effects.

It should be noted that the needle used in dry needling is very thin and most individuals will not even feel it penetrate the skin. However, if a muscle is sensitive and shortened or has active trigger points, there may be a sensation similar to a muscle cramp. This is a normal response and indicates that the needle is correctly targeting the affected muscle.
